White House Hosts Crypto and Wall Street Executives
President Trump is expected to convene crypto leaders, federal regulators and traditional finance firms at the White House for a high-profile digital assets policy meeting.
The White House is expected to host a meeting on Wednesday with executives from Coinbase, Ripple, Polymarket, Gemini and major traditional finance firms including Nasdaq and NYSE. SEC Chairman Gary Gensler and CFTC Acting Chairman Michael Selig are also expected to attend, according to reports.
The gathering is one of the Trump administration’s highest-profile crypto-focused events to date. With the CLARITY Act failing to secure a Senate vote before the August recess, commentators believe the administration may move ahead through agency coordination instead of waiting for Congress.
